93.5 and 1039 some interesting scenarios

Just had an interesting idea in my head.

What if the owners of 103.9 decided to buy 93.5 FM and move hot 103.9 down to 93.5
And then sell 103.9 to calvery chapel Costa Mesa. This would help not only hot 103.9 but also help calvery chapel get an inland stick to fill a void for IE coverage. Just a thought.

Hot 103.9 barely gets a 0.8 share in the IE. While low power, it covers much more of the rated IE market than KDEY does (most of KDEY's signal is in an unrated area that runs along the foothills from Ontario to Rialto).

And the Meruelo group is likely to sell the two 93.5 signals together if they sell at all... they work best when paired and co-engineered.

I think 34james means KDEY.

Searched Radio-Locator for KDAE. Those calls are attached to an AM station in Sinton, TX. Couldn’t find a KDAE-FM.
