93.5 FM (New Station?) in Nashville

Just wondering if any of you have heard the Spanish Language Station on 93.5? It is strong in the area around Dickerson Pike, I-65and Briley Parkway. I can't receive it in Donelson as 93.7 splatters over on 93.5.

The only two stations licensed (according to Radio Locater) around here are the 250 watt Translator for WTNK in Hartsville and 100 watt WSPP LPFM in Hopkinsville, Ky.

We really don't need any more stations or translators here in the Nashville area. The radio dial is already crowded enough as it is. And drive a mile or two in any direction, and you will lose the signal from the translator that you are listening to. (Interesting that 93.7 is the Fish frequency for the "wrong" side of town for you if you live in Donelson, yet it still overrides that translator. I listened to 93.7 quite a bit from south Nashville back when I lived there in the early 2000s, and that station was the Phoenix. But no other signal to listen to the Phoenix on at that time.)

(From the other thread) WMOT has an application for a translator in Bellevue! WMOT comes in just fine out here! We don't need no stinkin' translator out here!

There are, I'm afraid, more translators coming...

But this one, on 93.5, is in fact a pirate. There's nothing legal on 93.5 within 50km (30 miles) of the Channel 4 tower in West Nashville. 93.5 is a pretty good frequency from downtown east, I suppose if I were going to launch a pirate that's where I'd put it...

Thanks Doug and Firepoint 525.

I heard 93.5 today on my trek from work (NorthStar Studios) to home near the intersection of Donelson Pike and Lakeland. It fades out once I get past Opryland driving towards Lebanon Road where I start picking up 93.7's bleedover. I have to say the music is not that bad, even though I cannot understand any of the words being sung.

I am surprised my workplace doesn't have inquiries from prospective translator operators wanting to put their antennas on our 475 foot tower. 104.5 The Core, I think that is what they called themselves back them, used our tower for a couple years when they were transitioning from WTVF's Tower to one of the towers across Interstate 24 from WTVF.
Some of my coworkers and clients had problems with their electronic door locks on their cars not working in our parking lot while 104.5 was there. I think their ERP at that time was 100,000 watts.

I noticed on Doug's list of translators on another thread, there is one pending, which will be on Tucker's Knob in Donelson, with 1 watt of power. My little GMRS Radio has more power. I wonder if that one watt is enough to make it to my house? I think that translator on 99.3 repeating WAMB on Tucker's Knob runs 3 watts. I can pick that up all the way to work.

The translator in Murfreesboro on 100.5, as well as, the one in Dickson on 101.5 boom in on my car radio in Donelson. I cannot get either one on my CCrane radio though. I can barely get Hippie Radio on it.:( Too much interference from 94.7,

I can hear the 93.5 pirate as far east as Hermitage (in the lowe's/home depot area of OHB)...the country station I heard mixing in was WKWX Savannah (heard spots mentioning Selmer and Savannah)...and no sign of the Hartsville translator. More than flea power on this one...

Came in pretty good throughout Hendersonville today. It doesn't treat 93.7 very well. I'm not an expert, but if I had to guess it was a low height and decent power, judging by the obstruction patterns (created when I lowered antenna to judge strength).
