93.5 WAKR FM to change antenna pattern, slight power increase.

Saw this on www.radio-locator.com. It says “construction permit”. The station goes from 210 to 250 watts, but better coverage north to south In Summit County. Maybe better in northern Stark County too. Antenna height remains 535’ AAT. Great move.

That's going to improve on coverage and reception for 93.5 in Akron.

Wasn't there supposed to be a 93.5 in the Canton area?

WTIG 990AM in Massillon had a CP for a 93.5....but their ownership decided not to build an FM...opening things up for Akron to improve their coverage.
