I can see that the FCC approved the consent to assign the license from BP broadcasters to Cherokee Media. Does anyone know if they are broadcasting locally or if is a feed signal? If is local, who is doing the Spanish programming?

Cherokee Media was a scam company consisting of a disbarred attorney and a gullable one time DJ/sportscaster/convict that tried to buy every radio station in East Tennessee, but had no money. They never closed on the purchase of WKZX or WITA AM 1490 in Knoxville.

I can't tell who's doing the programming, but Paul Fink, who does a lot of Hispanic, bought the last station that the current owner had and turned it to hispanic.
Edited by southerncomfort on 02/03/06 06:57 PM.
