93.7, The Arrow-Smith?

It is quite ironic that KKRW is pulling all stunts because the Classic Rock station is quite literally promoting The legendary rock'n roll band's upcoming concert in The Woodlands, with "The Red Rocker", Sammy Hagar as their opening act. Do we smell a format change? I hope not.

Not sure where you're going with this. Isn't Aerosmith a classic rock band to start with?

Unless you suspect they might be whoring out their station name for a day (Thursday, which is when the show is scheduled) and then go onto something else on Friday morning, or whenever the concert is done, whichever comes first? I wouldn't think they would break away from a PPM-friendly format like rock, much less with some gimmick like that.

But what if the tour gets canceled for some reason? Isn't Steven Tyler speculated to be one of the new judges on "American Idol"? He might have to ditch the rest of the tour to sit and listen to auditions with J-Lo and Jessica Simpson... :D

I think The Arrow will eventually go by The Aerosmith for about a week, In spite of the band's scheduled concert over at The Woodlands this Thursday.

Now, I think Steven Perry is rumored to be the third judge over on American Idol, but I like Bret Michaels because he is a good fit with Randy Jackson(The New Head Judge over on Idol). With Cowell going over to The U.S. version of "The X-Factor", Ellen quitting, & Kara being let go. I think Jennifer Lopez would be the woman in the middle of the 3-Member Panel. Come next season, It's all over..

Do we really need two classic rock stations here? If the Aarow flipped, big deal, there's still The Eagle. CC would probably flip it to talk or rap music.

There isn't going to be any format change. They are using that moniker just to promote the Aerosmith concert. It's basically the same thing KTBZ did in 2005 when the Astros made their World Series run. They called themselves "The Killer Bee" for their playoff run.

I don't think The Arrow is not going anywhere. But I really do think there is a strong connection however between Houston's only 2 rock stations, as they're trying to do their best in hyping up The Astros as well as The Aerosmith's Concert. So, what's next: ArrowFest?
