I worked in radio for a long time and I truly love FM BUT the "free radio uses minutes or data arguement" doesn't hold up nowadays. Most companies offer unlimited data these days and even without an unlimited plan, a 64Kbps data stream streaming 24 hours a day (if left streaming) uses 1GB per day.

Content is key!

Stations should spend money on their digital strategy and maintaining and growing compelling content.
