93.7, WRJM, off the air

The transmitter is off, this I know from just checking it. Through the grape vine I heard that the national shows weren't a problem but that some of the local shows were talking poorly about the sale/take over and to stop the negative talk the whole thing was shut down. There are usually three sides to every store, if this is one of them has anyone heard the other two? ???

Well I dont know what the problem is but if its a tech problem My boy Frog is on it.

If you guys need anything voice over , tracking etc holla at ya boy

The Shady Nation

ahh I see Well Let me just say this For those who are rocking the boat.

Right now you have the chance to take back that number one spot in the ratings. Don't let petty things stop you.

I know most of you on both sides you are all professionals come together and do what you are best at .

Busy is the word!

Can't wait to get them up and running at full speed. I think everyone will be pleased, from a technical standpoint, of both WUSD and WDBT.

Now...I must get back to it, these wires wont punch-down themselves!

I was listening to Wtvy FM today and Steve Crosby came on the radio. He use to do nights on Wtvy FM in the 1980's and early 1990's. He said he was coming back to Wtvy mornings during Rick And Bubba. Steve Crosby use to be employed by Wrjm . See i think if i am wrong I am sorry. Radio people seals Wtvy staff so Wtvy will get Wrjm staff . fair trade does anyone agree.

Oh, yeah. One entire air staff in exchange for one board op that TRP probably weren't going to hire anyway. Sounds like a fair trade to me!

And the wheel (of drama) in the sky keeps on turning....

Interested to see how they comply with "Main Studio Location" rules.
They are outside of the 25 mile rule and the "City Grade Contour"
and I bet Mr. Mizell will not agree to letting them designate
WGEA's studios as their main.

From the petition, it is abundantly clear that Mizell is crazier than an outhouse mouse.

Is this for real or a ploy to fill time until they resurface at WDBT's frequency?

that's too bad, i enjoy that station for coast to coast am when it comes down here.

*sigh*

Very strange...

So is the WRJM/WDBT format swap still going to happen tomorrow as scheduled or have plans been put on hold?
Sad to seem WRJM-FM go...it's been on the air almost a quarter of a century (on 105.7 in Troy and on 93.5/93.7 Geneva).

What happens to WRJM-TV? I was reading on wikipedia that the folks at WRJM-TV never filed any type of application for DTV, and because of that, the station would cease to exist after the February 2009 deadline. Recnet shows, though, that WRJM-TV has been assigned channel 48 for DTV so I'm guessing the info from wikipedia must be wrong (or out of date), one... ???
