Amen! The Columbia area just isn't meant for good radio! Oh well. The signal sucks anyway. Good luck broadcasting to the cows. I was in Lexington and West Columbia driving around tonight and WSCZ had a battle with WDRR out of Augusta. Is Miller confused? Look what happened to 92.1, 93.1, and 94.3. If they were so hellbent on flipping 93.9, they should of went against WNOK. This market stinks ROYALLY. Z was a great station with a lot of potential, with of course the only problem being the signal. Don't worry WCOS, you know you have nothing to worry about. If I sound bitter, maybe I am. I will get over it soon. ;D
This format flip blows...Just what we need more country stations...... :'( I live just south of Charlotte and this by far is the best station I've heard here in years since Charlotte's Best Rock 95.7 was here :-[
I've said it before and I'll say it again (and I was roasted for saying it): Harold Miller's best days (ie, competitive days) in the industry are LONG behind him. I know a lot of folks are in his corner, but seriously, step back and look at what he's done in the last 10-15 years.
Defend that.
