93.9 FM Signal Interference in the RGV

While driving around McAllen/Mission/Edinburg on a Friday or Saturday night, I often find myself trying to get the signal reception from KMXR 93.9 in Corpus Christi to listen to The Mike Harvey Show. But for some time now, that signal has been interfered here by a Mexican station at the same dial, and I don't even know where it's from.

Any legal ID's they give? Or is it just music?

You are more than 100 miles from KMXR. You're lucky to be getting regular reception at all.
You are 45 miles from XHRAW in Cd. Miguel Aleman, west of Rio Grande City.
There is a possibility it has upgraded and/or moved its tower farther to the east.

KMXR is a regular catch in the McAllen area, because there aren't a lot of stations in that area of the dial.

But you do have 93.9 XHRAW -- a class A in Ciudad Miguel Aleman, next to Roma, and offering regional Mexican programming that hyper-serves both communities. This station never gives legal IDs, nor does it play the national anthem. Although the station would be a great McAllen move-in, it has not done so as far as I can tell (and I'm in 93.9's 60dbu contour). The signal doesn't really make it too far east past the Starr/Hidalgo county line in Sullivan City.
