"Very Smart"? Clear Channel Raleigh? This the first time those two thoughts have been linked since they bought the stations. They now have three format changes since Labor Day and the whole ad community thinks they are on crack.

They obviously were on crack or something when they named the new 106.1 "Rooster"...

my first thought when i heard they were going to flip the station: "i wonder if the first song is gonna be rednex - cotton eyed joe"

with a name like that. you know it's a CC station

I think cc has done it with 'KSL this stations bumpin i havent changed the channel since they signed on yesterday. KISS-FM is a hit on clearchannels part ( finally) it took them long enough!

on a serious note; KSL does sound good. esp when i stream it on the computer and play it through my new 5.1 system i got for christmas. ohhh yea

Us here in Charlotte are jealous, radio here is cookie cutter and boring! 939 sounds great! Great station! Whoopie? Not sure about that though. Our CC AC station, WLYT has been playing more disco and been edgier than the competition K104.7. Maybe they will flip too?

Most of the time during weekdays they seem "Lite" again, but the name is a joke.

Now Mix 106 IS "Lite".
