I was in Raleigh last night and today and enjoyed the music 93.9 Kiss FM, but the on-air talent was boring. I was expecting more excitement to go along with the beat. Is it always like that?

Or the Z Morning Zoo... or 50 minute music marathons, or The Most Hits, heck why not just 94Z... :)

I do like 93.9 Kiss Fm though.

I stopped listening to them when they shifted formats a couple months ago but if it's the way it was before, a lot of it is very blatantly voice tracked.

93.9 KISS FM is fun to listen to. However, as one mentioned, it is very blatantly VT'ed! I did like the pre Pulse 102 format on KISS. BUT, as a couple others mentioned...what about 94Z. I mean, if they are going to do a hybrid Rhythmic-CHR format, it may as well be 94Z!! I will always remember the jingles, "Gary and Donna on 9 4 Z" (from the morning zoo), Too-Tall Donna, John Van Pelt, 50 minute music marathons, The Z Morning Zoo (with Woody Durham doing the Sports!), The Most Hits 94Z. Also, who remembers the cool remote set up at The State Fair with the killer sound system, lights, and I believe even a dance floor one year? Somewhere, I have cassettes with recordings of Gary and Donna on The Z Morning Zoon...I'll have to find those, now! I was a big 94Z fan!

Absolutely, I loved 94Z. My all time favorite station besides 99.9 Kiss Fm in Asheville (prior to the changes). Remember the bank vaults full of cash, the speed boat give aways, the jingles (John Van Pelt, Ninety Four Z...) and the talent. Not to mention, G105 sounded great then too.

Take a slice of chr radio at that time in NC...
Down East, the original Hot Fm, 93DLX,
B100 in Wilmington
Kiss Fm in Asheville
Kiss Fm in GSO
Q98 in Fayetteville, rocks the docks and rules the pools.
Murphy in the morning on WROQ in Charlotte...

Showing my age... :)
