93.9 Latest Speculation

With the reports of Scott Jameson out at Clear channel. former Clear channel Indy Boss Mr Wheat is working for Cumelus Indy these days. might Jameson be on his way to 93.9 to PD an alt rocker. I think another possibly change is on the way if CC decides to chuck X103 out the window. they have all but stripped it of anything these days

Does this seem logical to anybody?

Cumulus is going to hire a PD who just got tossed for not getting it done so he can bring in the morning guy CC just dumped before said PD got dumped to launch a format that was doing so poorly -- when these two were executing it, btw -- that rampant speculation has CC dropping it before the end of the year?

Not even Cumulus is THAT stupid [right?]

"Wait a minute...let me get this straight...we're going to catch up with the regular class by going slower than they are?" -- Bart Simpson

While this latest thread of speculation might not seem logical from a programming or timing point of view, one thing you can count on is Chris Wheat's loyalty to folks who've been part of his past long term crew. Folks like Michelle Kiefer and Jeff Crane have already landed in the Cumulus sales hallways after getting their start on Fall Creek. A guy like Scott J. would be one more person that Chris would make room for [if he can], no matter how Scott's CC station are currently doing. Scott helped make Chris successful in the past, has a successful programming track record, and much like Chris now probably has a bit of a chip on his shoulder for CC. It would not be a surprize to see Scott land at N. Shadeland, regardless of 93.9's future format.
