Well, the geniuses at Great Eastern have finally figured out what everyone else already knew...The Pulse was a piece of crap! It mercifully died today and in it's place is now "Classic Hits MAX FM". It's kind of a rock oriented classic hits with no dj's. Sounds kind of like a Jack presentation except more rock leaning. They haven't said but I assume they will still have The Morning Buzz. They are also still carrying the Red Sox. Strange combination but those boys have never really cared about program quality...they just care about cramming in as many commercials as possible. So the "great experiment" of awful Concord shows is gone...or is it? Nope! Tune to 1400 WTSL and the FM translator 94.3 if you miss any of that programming. (insert the crickets here)

More train-wreck radio. Just when I thought the music was balanced fairly well, (Eagles, CCR, Clapton, etc) I heard ABBA, KC, Commodores and Chaka Khan. (Chaka Khan?)

Variety Hits would be a more appropriate label than "classic hits."

The sweep promoing the Morning Buzz was odd in that it didn't mention the show by name but its personalities only.

And would someone please tell the esteemed GM that there is no such word as "livation." It's "libation."

Well, after enjoying a libation or two, it may begin to sound like livation! ;)
