93 Rock: Skate ramps? or Talk ramps?

Live or not, doesn't 93.1 have the ability to talk over the ramps of their songs? They sound like 88.5 WKPX at night. In other words, dare I say, they sound like a COLLEGE STATION!!!!!

What idiot broadcaster (Kevin Vargas) doesn't know what sounds hot these days, is talking over the ramps of a song? Don't you know that by now Kevin Vargas? Or are you too stoned to realize that Kevin Vargas? None of your jocks, not even you talk over the ramps of ANY music. It's what makes 93 Rock sound like a dead in the water COLLEGE STATION!

Now, maybe this is some new thing for emo-punks and drug heads that love this format. This, talk less, play more music, try and sound cool format without sounding like (dramatic boom boom boom) A JOCK!! WOW....!!!!! A REAL JOCK!! Can't do that to the audience of 93.1 or you will disturb their emotions and ruin their 420 high. Does anyone get what I'm saying? Bottom f&*&ing line in my book:

When you see a chance to talk a ramp, TAKE IT!
When you see a chance to talk a ramp, TAKE IT!
When you see a chance to talk a ramp, TAKE IT!

What the hell is the problem with programmers these days???? Now someone PLEASE stop me and tell me where I'm wrong. If I'm not wrong, this rant will be sent to Kevin Vargas for an early Christmas gift. :)

Unfortunately, your rant would fall on dead ears at Cox. The station is neglected. Very much like 93.9 MIA over at CC. There is very little effort put to that station.

They have cheap talent for voicetracking, and very generic imaging. The playlist is short and very repetitive. Cox can program good rock stations like the 102.5 The Bone in Tampa (Bubba's flagship) that does very well, because the playlist is extensive and you have two string personalities doing live morning and afternoon drive shows.

No matter what, the station has no budget. They are a Zeta clone, and all we can wait for is a format flip. That will not happen, because there is a need for an alternative format in Miami.

Bring back the dance music and Party 93.1, and yeah,,, kill the emo's pot buzz, and give the dance fans a natural high.... ;)
