930 on the air!!

I noticed it yesterday....

Right now he is airing 95.5 and it sounds pretty good!!

Anyone know where the new .93 site is??

Chances are they have powered up so they can keep the license. Chances are it'll go dark again soon. Maybe when the economy recovers someone will buy it.

They have also applied to the FCC for permission to remain silent but licensed.

They are claiming that in addition to economic reasons there is an issue with the "site availability" - I thought Pamal owned the land it is on, so what's the issue? Is this just a good excuse that they cooked up to remain silent?

In addition to attempting to keep the license active they also may be simulcasting as a "just in case" the FCC doesn't grant continued permission to remain silent.

Co-owned 101.7-WNYQ has been off the air for several days now....

I wonder if A) anybody noticed and B) how much revenue they are loosing on that station with it being their Glens Falls all Xmas outlet!
