939 KISS FM This One Sounds Good!!!

Hello guys I know that CC takes a beating a lot on these boards, but I wanted to tip my hat to Chris Shebel and CC RDU for putting on what I think the movin' format could be... I have been listening to Kiss since it launched after Christmas and I am very impressed with what Chris has put together. Give it a listen at 939kissfm.com and share your thoughts here... The music flow is right on with what Kiss is pumping out... I see some pretty good things coming out of this new station and by the time we get into summer... CC1
 
CC takes a lot of critisizm because most of their stations all sound the same and are cheaply run.

I used to live in Raliegh a few years ago, and upon all my travels,...every city in which CC has stations has a "KISS" they couldn't have come up with something ORIGINAL. CC is only owned by BILLIONARE"S but yet they always go the Cheap way to run all their stations. Must be nice to be L. MAYS OR R MAYS. Boy they really now about good music. Someone else came up with this format...and they are just milking it on all their stations. These Rhytmic AC playlist are too broad and have no real direction.....Such as ABBA, then Marvin Gaye, then Christina Aguilerra, then CAMEO, to Rick James, to Kelly Clarkstion.....the List is just to Broad.

I just went to kiss's website and the playlist resembels most of these "MOVIN" RYTHMIC AC stations all over the country. Movin1075.com 957theparty.com movin939.com ..movin1007...so this station is not anything that isn't already in most of the other 40 markets already. The BIG SUITS IN SAN ANTONIO Killed what once was good radio...and they cashed in their empire and are swimming off their own Island Somewhere. CC has no orginallity at all.......COPY CHANNEL RADIO...

Sorry just had to tell it like it really is.
 
I have friends who hated to see Sunny 93.9 die, and I will also miss the all-Christmas format that Sunny carried, but so far I like the new 93.9 Kiss. I found this to be a very pleasant surprise, considering that just two months before the Sunny-to-Kiss flip CC-R butchered classic-rock icon WRDU, flipping it to country (as if we didn't already have too many country stations!) and naming it after, of all animals, a ROOSTER?!!!!!! Maybe CC-GSO will follow CC-R's lead and switch WMKS to rhythmic AC instead of what that Kiss is currently playing...
 
I liked how MKS started out. I still enjoy it from time to time, I think they might could pick up the tempo a bit. I wonder if a R-AC station could do well vs. KZL? They sound alot like one anyway...other than the fact that they play too many slow songs...and none of the really good old songs...nevermind...
