93Q switches to "Hits and Favorites."

I received a tip from one of my friends who reported that WQIO is now broadcasting the ABC Satelite "Hits and favorites" feed.

Listened on the way home and they where running John Tesh and still IDing as a CC station... If they indeed went to the ABC feed outside of Tesh it dont suprise me as the new owners (BAS Broadcasting) use ABC feeds on their other two stations in North west Ohio.
______________

Lenks, are you sure it wasn't 93.3 you were listening to?

It did appear that they were "local" around 12:30 this afternoon.

Yes I am pretty sure, I heard the same station ids they had been using durning Clear Channel ownership, in fact durning the tesh show they id'ed as 937 WQIO Mt Vernon a "clear channel station" and when I tuned in after midnight I heard music and ids and even heard "93Q Weather" I did not hear the ABC Feed (even overnights the ABC has at least a jock) there was no jock on what I heard.
______________

On my way home this afternoon I was listening to 93Q It's still CC operated. They even advertised the John Tesh show.

Could 93Q have been over-ridden by "tropo" from a distant signal on the same frequency??
