94.1 and 94.9

What stations are 94.1 and 94.9? I was scanning the dial here in Greenville and it stopped on 94.9 this morning about 5:45 AM and there was some modern B93.7'ish kind of music playing. I went to the other room and came back and then it was a solid tone, like some sort of test tone. I scanned the dial again and it stops at 94.1 with that same tone. Just rescanned and the tone was playing then stopped and silence, FM Stereo Indicator still lit up and now some commercial has come on. Just rescanned and now 94.1 is playing the same thing. Now it sounds sorta techno. What is all this mess? Curious if anyone knows. It's currently 5:57 AM.
 
Dang some computer sounding voice started speaking another language and now some Mexican sounding stuff came on. These frequencies keep changing what they're playing, it is all over the place.
 
Ok definitely Mexican at this point. Ok simulcast same thing on 1070 AM so its that AM station now on FM. How long has this been going on? I just found it this morning. Man the Mexican people are taking over the dial in the upstate!
 
Speaking of WCSZ 1070 AM. I was reading on one of the DX posts that they were receiving it all the way in Kansas as recent as December 2012. Did they flip the torch back on? I had thought they were under reduced power. Must have cranked that 50k back up.
 
Just read too that someone in Ottawa Canada heard that station clear as well. They must have got things brought up to par over there if it's getting out like that.
 
94.1 repeats WHZT 98.1 for Spratanburg, Greer, and other areas east of Greenvile. 98.1 only covers the western part of the market due to 97.9 WPEG in the Charlotte market.

I think 1070 may forget to power down some nights. I was traveling through Eastern KY a few months back, and they were about the strongest thing on the dial at 8:30pm between London and Lexington. Can't say for sure that it wasn't the couple hundred watts they send NW at nights, but it was stronger than WSB.
 
Well now 94.1, 94.9 and 1070 AM all have the same thing playing. Yeah I've been reading on the "DX" posts about 1070 being heard all the way up in Ottawa Canada. They must have really lit that torch up!
 
The Indianapolis station was very unhappy with this and contacted them and got the "problem" with running 50,000 watts at night corrected....
 
That's odd, as 94.1 has no association with 94.9. 94.1 relays WHZT 98.1, as stated, and 94.9 relays 1070 WCSZ unless there is something going on we don't know about...
 
Well I was hearing the same program on 94.1, 94.9, and 1070. It Still is. Heard it in Easley that way today too. Still is that way here in Greenville.
 
I don't think they are saying that Clemson they are just trying to figure out what your hearing. Clemson where are you located and have you heard these broadcast driving around different areas? or just at your house.
 
Yes ive heard it while driving around and at my house. House is in Greenville, heard them playing the same thing there and then in Easley. Today I heard something different on 94.1 so maybe there was something wrong? I did hear 1200 something another, Maybe 1260(?) identify itself as 840 or something like that out of Charlotte. They were incorrectly identifying themselves. It was some Mexican station too.
