94.1 marching north

The FCC just approved a change in the table of allotments making Fruit Cove the new city of license. This move will provide service to 355,868 more people. The city-grade 70dbu coverage will change from 72.3% of the St Augustine Urbanized area to 1.7% with this change. Jacksonville's urbanized coverage will see the gain from the current 6.6% to 26.8% in city-grade coverage.

I do know that a class C3 94.1 licensed to Fruit Cove and a class C0 94.1 licensed to Savannah have to be 226km apart and in this case they are 233km apart so they can really move anymore north then this change in the table of allotments allows.

I've seen that in the FCC data base. Where exactly is Fruit Cove? It appears that South Jacksonville is essentially all that 94.1 will gain. I assume the studios will move in with 96.1, 99.9 and 100.7?

There already is a wall of interference between these 2 stations as you drive into Georgia on I-95 north. Expect this to get worse after the move.

Fruit Cove is in NW St. Johns county - roughly the quadrant west of I-95 and north of CR 210
