I've watch this station go down the drain!!! Everything is now Premium Choice except for middays. How long before Cumuls E93 becomes the only Hip-Hop station once again? I smell a flip!

It seems like they have brought in enough funds for them to be left live and local 24/7 for now (although KMEL is jockless after 10PM until 6AM and has been for 6 years)...

I believe CC's HOT 105.7 in Montgomery is all local weekdays except for Harvey in AM drive. I've never listened to Premium Choice. I can imagine how bland it sounds with no mentons of local events, severe weather or request lines by the jocks.

Hot 105.7 in Montgomery and 98.3 the Beat in Columbus (GA) are the very few exceptions to this rule with CC on smaller markets, but it might be due to the fact that both are consistently in the top 5 of their respective market overall 6+ diaries.

Honestly, a radio request line in 2012 has just as much relevance as those weather forecast hotlines TV stations had in the 80s and 90s.younglee981 said:they dont even bother to give out the request line numbers anymore.

What about the other Top 10 marketed CC urbans WJLB and WUSL?kilamanjero said:The only CC stations that seemed to be unaffected in the urban division were the flagship (KMEL) and WWPR, and WGCI.
