94.5 3WS Heard in Virginia

You guys might appreciate this being from Pittsburgh....

I was on U.S. 33 about 20 miles west of Harrisonburg, VA (Basically right on the Virginia/West Virginia Line) I got WWSW perfectly clear on my car radio. Considering its a distance of 135 miles, thats a pretty neat catch!

very nice DX catch! From the top of that ridge perhaps you even had line of sight into Pittsburgh?
(on a clear day I have seen the US Steel Bulding from points in the Laurel Mountans 60-75 miles
away), My personal best is 89X, a Canadian alternative rock station out of Windsor, Ontario that
is actually at 88.7. I picked it up atop the hill on Boyce Road in Upper St. Clair. I will concede though
that I think the Canadians run ungodly power on commercial stations at those low frequencies.
