The holiday comes at the same time every year. Retailers and broadcasters keep expanding the season every year to where we are just glad it's freaking over once it IS here.
 
Yeah, it's weird. Some years they go all-Christmas, others they just decide to keep their current format going with a few Christmas songs sprinkled in per hour.

The record for Louisville is four. WJIE-88.5, WLUE-100.5, WSYI-105.9, and WVEZ-106.9 were All-Christmas by Thanksgiving of last year. WSYI-105.9 has since switched to a Christian Talk format. However, we will probably still have four stations going All-Christmas this year. WLUE-100.5 and WLRS-105.1 have already made the switch to All-Christmas. WJIE-88.5 and WVEZ-106.9 usually make the switch on Thanksgiving Day.
