Sounds good! They're playing local artists with NO R&B. Even though its not a full market signal, I think it'll do good.

When will it move to in town?????

I believe they are "in-town" with the construction permit work done:

There is no way they are on the stick yet, I live just about a mile from that marker, (tower)..and all I hear is garble, just an observation, as I will never listen anyway.

When I was Downtown/Midatown last night, STREETZ 94.5 was crystal clear. From Peachtree St, The Connector and all the way back to Lithonia I-20 East no static.

I'm sure o e of the engineers will confirm, but don't translators have lower priority regarding interference resolution than full service stations? If so, than bye bye Streetz 94.5, they would most likely have to drop power or relocate, or change their antenna pattern would they not?

That is why I asked about the complaint location. The full power station has to show the FCC there have been complaints. So, does location matter? If the complaint location is in the fringe signal area, does it count?

It site snot on the intown site yet,,there is no way it is...

YES, they are on the new tower. Have been since Friday. License to cover was filed monday or Tuesday.

In the case of a translator in Detroit, it did not matter that the complaint came from a fringe area. Any legit complaint, causes remediation on the part of the translator owner. In Detroit's case, it cease broadcasting and went out of business.

It does have a pretty deep, and wide "null" pretty much across the north side of the tower. You may be in that area. I forget the amount that it is pulled in on the north, but it appears to be a substantial amount. In cases like that, you may be getting more signal thru scatter (multipath) rather than the "real" signal. As a result it may sound bad, fuzzy etc.

I live off Briarcliff Rd between the farm at Shepard's and the one at Edgewood...not at all audible

You may have some extra RF floating around from everyone at Richland, especially 94.9. The 94.5 RF is a "few" dB down compared to the signals from Richland, Shepherd, and even New Street

No, I have a superadio very selective, it is not on the stick, it just can't be.

I listened to the station at the base of the Richland tower yesterday. It was crystal clear!
Tonight I drove the signal from Douglasville to S Hairiston Drive in Stone Mountain. The signal is multipath free......much better than 107.9. While the signal strength may be lower some of these translators have an amazing lack of multipath interference and in a car are much easier to listen to than some of the full power signals.
I have not tried it up north but everywhere I have listened so far it's been one of the best translator signals - on par with 97.9.

It's because the stations right near you, 92.9, 94.9, etc are blocking it out.
