I started listening to 94.5 The Buzz in the past 2 weeks and noticed a HUGE difference in their selection of music and their playlist.
Especially on Friday and Saturday nights after 8pm , I noticed very few commercials and more music which is a plus.

Fewer commercials mean no sales meaning trouble for the radio station!

The economy is still sinking!

I've been listening to KLTO a lot more than the Buzz, I havn't listened to the Buzz in a long time.

Here's their playlist. Sure looks more active rock than "alternative." Their songs played includes some 90s staple AR songs. Maybe I'll take a listen tomorrow....but I'm not holding my breath.

I agree, the music they were playing was alot harder rock then normal. Trust me, I hated that station win CC took it over but it has changed for the better here lately.

ok, I just heard "The Dope Show" by Marilyn Manson on The Buzz. I know for a fact they would never play that artist in the past.

;D

Sill I think The Buzz should be more like KLTO, less talk more rock!

...yaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnn.

These are the band I got bored with 10 years ago.

I do hear the new Mastadon is getting great reviews from people that have heard it. My guess is that KTBZ won't play it. Good thing i've got an ipod. \m/

the Buzz is 2 different stations. It was heading in the active rock direction a few years ago (about the time I stopped listening). When I turn it on during the day, I hear the same old Nirvana, STP, Dave Matthews and few new hard bands. At night, it is all active rock and more Metallica.
