94.5 Tide / WYEZ

"Straight Up" by Paula Abdul on WEZV. That's "easy"? Other than that, at the times I have checked in today, everything has been normal. I even heard Barry Manilow.

Also, the web site doesn't list any local on-air personalities other than Scott Richards.

I heard "Waterfalls" by TLC on "Fresh Off the Boat" but it included rap, as every song Eddie likes does.

The song has been played on WEZV but whether I heard it all the way through, I don't remember. I doubt they would have the version with rap.

You should try out Easy 102.9 Jacksonville, FL. Far worse then Easy 105.9 here for the soft sound of AC
I already know WDUV and WFEZ are worse than WEZV. But I would like to see what's going on elsewhere. The reason I have such an interest in WEZV is that unless Rush Limbaugh is on, I pretty much have to hope they're playing something good and stay with it as long as I can. That's what I do at home in the car. I'm better off if I just like what I like regardless of whether it is easy. It is an opportunity, either in the car or when i am listening to WEZV online, to hear some good songs that don't fit my ideal format.

So this is not official confirmation, and it contradicts the fact that even though WEZV has added more softer songs while at the same time adding uptempo newer songs. Someone told me that Diane DeVaughn Stokes was let go because her audience is too old. She would put "old people" up on the Facebook page from her lunch bunch and the man who ran the station would take them down. I guess that's not surprising, because after I found the Facebook posts from people who complained when the music changed, they disappeared a few weeks later. An unofficial site still has the complaints.

I was right. I heard it all the way through and it's an instrumental for the longest time.

Oh, good, they have "last songs played". I don't have to listen.

"She Drives Me Crazy", "Wherever You Will Go", "Hit Me with Your Best Shot" and "Semi-Charmed Life"? Who exactly is calling this station soft?

How were the WGTN and WGTR calls aloud being in the same market and sounding similar?

As for 94.5 on there RDS it reads WYEZ, used to say 94.5 The Tide with song currently playing.

It says "Your life, your music" while at the same time "conservative talk" is also on the screen.
