94.5 vibe...

at 93,000 watts you would think the "stick" would be alot more powerful here in the valley and no need for a booster in APEX. also their sales kit states an address on west sahara.... I'm assuming its only their sales office and not main studios???

also, IMHO their OLD logo was better than their new logo.

looks like they gots a new owner too, and new advertisers, mainly PALMS casino and various stripclubs.

I like the sound and feel of this station and feel that it's a good fit for vegas, if only I could hear it all over town and that they actually have a presence on the streets.

They need to advertise more in Vegas and fix the signal, I highly doubt people in Vegas actually know this station exists. 94.5 FM is a mess in my walkman due to that 94.7 translator. It would be better if the owners buy that translator and rebroadcast 94.5 The Vibe on it to improve the signal on the Strip.

Strangely, this station is one of the few I am getting clearly in my room off Paradise. The rest are mired in multipath. And it's certainly a better mix than KPLV's HD2, Pride Radio. So what's keeping them from dropping power and moving into the city?

Is KPLV HD2 back on the air? I went to vegas twice this year and it wasn't broadcasting on 93.1fm. It just showed on my hd radio KPLV FM, not HD1. I also notice that 104.3 now wasn't broadcasting in HD either when I went back in May.

Let me double check to make pure I got my stations right... 93.1 is in HD with the Pride Radio dance format on the HD2. 104.3 is in HD as well but there is on ID on the screen, just "HD -HD" as the name. The HD2 is "rock of the 80's, 90's and now."

I just got back from Vegas this weekend and I thought the signal was pretty decent for 94.5. My F-150 radio picked it up loud and clear on the stip....and it was listenable to almost Jean, after which the signal really started to fade. And I don't have the most powerful radio in my truck either....
