94.5 WPST...turning into a Hot AC

The PST of today doesn't sound the same musically as the PST of 2004. There's almost no hip hop and a lot more older titles like Heaven by Bryan Adams. It's like the hit music that Now 92.3 doesn't play. It sounds a lot more like SoJo 104.9 than Z100.
 
PST has not been a CHR for years now. They have been a self proclaimed Hot AC since about 2005, and report their music to the trades that way. Seems to be working out for them, the ratings look good.

Depending on when you listen(ed) your sample will be different more times than not since they are and have been for many years HEAVILY DAYPARTED catering to the "office crowd" during the day and the "tweens" from 7pm on. As the previous poster noted..."if it ain't broke don't fix it." Nick are you in their target demo?
 
I'm almost 21, so I am in the target demo.
I don't remember the AC focus during the day back when I was in high school. And even in the evenings, it sounds more like a Mix 106.5 (Baltimore) than a Z100. There's no hip hop anymore.
I just find the type of CHR played on 92.3 Now or Q102 to be more appealing to me. If I want AC, there's Magic 98.3.
