94.5

Because John K. took it upon himself to write that story. No CC managers were quoted in the story and it didn't mention any press release. I will bet that no matter what the format, Reds baseball will still be on there and - as the current loop says - WLW returns full time on May 1.

By not using 94.5 until May 1, WLW is missing out on those positives that have been mentioned about the station being able to be heard in areas with reption problems downtown. For example, UC's game in the NCAA during working hours on Friday, the Reds' opening day game, etc.

Cincy Rock - The Final Format ChampionListen for the debut of 94.5 Cincy Rock immediately following the FM simulcast of the Cincinnati Reds opening Day game April 1st.

Starting May 1st, 94.5 will be the permanent FM simulcast of 700WLW, but for the month April, listen to “The Best undiscovered music of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Reds on FM”…hosted by Florence KY’s native son and final format champion, Josh Field’s.

I don't expect the following comment to make me any more popular around this thread.

Some people like Josh Fields take action. Others just complain.

His format is one that I'm pleased to say I voted for. I don't personally know him, but wish him the best and thank him for the effort.
