I keep picking up this radio station 94.7 fm on my cell phone is this a pirate station or a new station. It's call letters are unknown, and they play various world music.

It's extremely likely you've found another pirate. There is nothing within 200 miles of Glocester, RI (where I grew up) which has that format on a standard A, B or C signal, LPFM or translator. I am curious about what you're hearing. Could you shoot a private message my way? Thanks.
