94.7 KRHM-FM Los Angeles airchecks

Billy Faier And Leon Bibb – The Les Claypool Show – KRHM – 1959 – Past Daily Pop Chronicles

Note these airchecks were recorded in 1958-1959 timeframe. Yes it's a rare aircheck to see how 94.7 FM Los Angeles was prior to being KMET and KTWV.

Skip Weshner's broadcasts on KRHM got me through the challenge that was law school. Listening with my Nikko receiver and Koss headphones (couldn't afford speakers or a turntable) to Hoyt Axton, John Denver, Linda Ronstadt, Leo Kottke, Joni Mitchell, and so many other wonderful performers, playing live from Skip and Lynne's home, was a lifesaving escape every weekend.
