94.9/95.1 Opening

Location: Kenosha, WI


This afternoon the local 50kw FM WIIL is off the air.

Positively IDed stations with it off:

WOLX Baraboo, WI (94.9)



UNID:

A station on 95.1 playing Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight. I am going to guess WLST Marinette, WI since its a regular when WIIL is off.

I got another station saying "This is your home of NASCAR Racing. 95Q"

And another playing Liz Phair - Why Can't I. I am going to guess the Liz Phair station is 94.9 WDKB Dekalb, IL (Hot AC) since it mixes in with WOLX while the 94.9 frequency is open here.

Any help IDing the 95Q would be appreciated.<P ID="signature">______________

Even though WZZN is primary coverage for me, WCNF Benton Harbor MI comes in around Gary Indiana quite a bit. I normally get Milwaukee, South Bend, Lafayette, and Grand Rapids WBCT.
 
95.1 could have also been WUEZ/Carbondale, IL "Magic 95.1"

If you can pin down a more accurate time, I might be able to give you a definite answer.<P ID="signature">______________

Where I live, I'm most likely to get WVLI Kankakee IL on 95.1, or WIIL Kenosha WI. I've never got any 95.1 from anywhere other than Kankakee or Kenosha.
