94.9 has made the switch!

Well, it looks like 94.9 has made the switch to solid Christmas music. So clear, so crisp. The way I've always wanted to hear my jingle bells.
Having some a huge FM signal and a major radio network behind it, I can't imagine how any other stations could compete in that genre. Seems like they have really cornered that market, including all the revenue that could be generated from that format.

No need to listen to 94.9 at all for the next 33 days...rather than just avoiding Delilah/Tesh/their awful morning show like I do the rest of the year.

I do believe Mr. Witten making an oblique reference to 1330 the Jolt/Star/Captain Eo/all XMAS in his comment "I can't imagine how any other stations could compete in that genre".

But, 1330 did completely sew up the Captain Eo demo for awhile.
