94.9 The Bull on air personalities

How is it that the Atlanta Falcons can find a head coach in less than a week, and 94.9 The Bull still doesn'r have anyone on the air 3 weeks after the switch?
I do enjoy their music mix, but I'm itching to hear some personality from the station.

How about this... the program director for the Bull just arrived last week. Wasn't likely even CC would hire jocks that the boss had no say-so in. Patience...

That's the way it's done these days. Sloppy and unprofessional. Thank people like Rusty Walker, Ed Salomon, Jaye Albright and the rest for letting it happen. Why pay jocks for several months when you can pay a consultant or two or three. Consultants will tell you anything to get that 25K or more fee. Hey we don't need jocks, we'll just instal radio in a box. The usual 200 songs and a sweeper voice.

The Bull will not win in the long run unless of course Kicks lays down dead, which would not surprise me the least.

Lord knows, the Bull could use some personality! As someone who was excited about a new country station in the ATL, I have already given up on the bull. They suck, BIG TIME! I hate the mix, it is bland and boring. Like we need to hear the crap they are playing anymore than we have already. They are like the "B98" of country. Just awful!!!!!

Wow... I agree! The playlist is SO soft! Like an "OL" out to pasture "Bull." I thought they would come out of the gates screaming, but they have stumbled! One slow song after another. It's boring!

Actually I rather like their mix. It's not as heavy on the new stuff as Kicks and doesn't go the "oldies" country route like Eagle. Of course I like just about all the songs they play so that may be a biased opinion.

As far as on air personalities, I would venture a guess that CC will pull the same voice track nonsense that they always do and it will sound cold and heartless. If they get any numbers at all they will quickly disappear. Plus their VO guy sucks! No personality. Sounds like a card reader who got lucky and they should get rid of him fast!

We shouldn't be surprised that The Bull has no DJs at this point. Hell, The River has been on the air for more than a year and has what, two, on air people?

Surfer have you listened recently? Heck I think the Bull plays more oldies then Eagle! ???

This just in...Jim Mora Jr. is the new morning man at The Bull. His father, Jim Mora Sr., says that Clear Channel is a career killer.
