The Right channel is all f'd up you can sort a hear it but not really you hear the left channel normally. There is also a crackle sound in the right channel. This is at 2:47am.
Is there anybody minding the controls there? Geez....it was like this during the evening drive yesterday and now 12 hours later the same. Come on people!
The processing is back to normal now. I wonder if Entercom has only a part time engineer for their cluster? Probably waiting for Bonneville to take over next month.
CBS was known for not investing in equipment. AFAIK their engineering staff is quite competent but even the most dedicated and passionate person can get hamstrung by lack of attention to infrastructure from the business office and the All Important Bottom Line.
Perhaps these things will be addressed by new owners, if any new owners stay in town long enough to realize what they've got.
You guys need to quit complaining about the sound of "The Sound". I would kill to hear it in stereo without interference. I would rather listen to it in mono(As I do a lot here since I live far from the signal)than listen to most Dayton stations in stereo. ;D
