94.9 The Sound Surprised Me

I agree totally with robmadden1...94.9 The Sound surprises me-and does so on a daily basis-with its music. I heard "Peaches" by the Presidents of the United States of America early this morning-DEFINATELY an "Oh, wow!" type of song. Other greats on The Sound-"Six Underground" by The Sneaker Pimps, "Radio Free Europe" by R.E.M., and even newer stuff other stations don't play like "Into the Ocean" by Blue October. This station reminds me of how great an Alternative station 'XEG in Dayton was until they decided to make it an Active/Alternative hybrid a few years back. This is a great station-Music, imaging, and all-I just hope Bonneville doesn't dump the format when they officially take over the station in the coming weeks.

I love to listen to it sonmetimes. I find this format much better then most alternative stations that just focus on the new music and forget the older songs.
