What is happening at WTNT???? First Cash the morning guy is leaving, now I saw that they have an afternoon filling. CC is really destroying the station. And how's WAIB/The Wolf doing???
 
Im not sure but I dont listren to WTNT-FM 94.9 or 103.1 The Wolf I have XM Radio I normally listren to my XM Radio.

I think Tallahassee's radio stations need to twisted alittle bit. 99.9 Hank-FM is doing well. I really don't like WFLA-100.7 FM only if FSU Baseball playing on WFLA-FM.I like the old 100.7 the former The Beat. Hot 104.9 is playing dance music late at nights or on the weekends I guess. WHBT-1410 Tallahassee went to gospel after they drop ESPN Radio a few years back. We have 3 AM stations playing gospel music on WSTT-AM 730 Thomasville, WHBT-1410-Tallahassee and WTAL-1450.

WCVC-AM 1330 is off the air for a while due to the a time-brokerage agreement until August 1, 2009. WCVC is temporarily off the air. It will be returning to the air with a new, locally-focused format shortly.

The only sports station in town is WNLS-AM 1270 (Clear Channel) that runs FOX Sports Radio.

If I want to listren to ESPN Radio I listren to it on XM Radio on XM-140.
 
I'm sorry to hear Cash is leaving, if that is true. He first was on the air at 103.1 when it was still known as B103.
Seems like he's been at WTNT for 4 or 5 years now, maybe more. I like his on-air personality. I wish him well!

I thought Jason Taylor was VT'ing afternoons from Mobile..but not sure. Haven't corresponded with Jason for a long time.

TNT is ahead of 103.1 The Wolf in ratings but it seems like it's missing some "ooomph" or something. I can't put my finger (or is that "ear") on it. I also don't quite get why PD Woody Hayes is relegated to nights.

As for the Wolf..After Big D and Bubba they do have local jocks Julie Miles, Jimmy Bone and Big Moose. I tend
listen to them more (vs. WTNT) if I turn the radio on for new country, which is not very often anymore.

WTNT was the first station I ever ran the board for..in 1977, when 94.9 was called WOMA and WTNT was on 1270.
You could get past the receptionist back then and hang with the DJs.
