Panama City, FL may be the next market to see the WFLA news/talk branding that originated in Tampa and has since expanded to Orlando and Tallahassee. 945wfla.com was registered this week in a state where Clear Channel only owns one station on that frequency: WFBX Parker, FL currently a Classic Rocker with the “94.5 The Fox” branding.

Now let the speculation begin on how they plan on taking down Magical 101 and the Nice Guy Morning Show.

It comes here on a regular basis here in Navarre. I guess now I won't have to rely on 93.7 out of Dothan to hear C2C. When will these changes take place?

If they take Rush then 9 AM will be Glenn Beck or Mike McConnell unless they're already taken in the market. I believe Premiere Radio requires new Rush affiliates to carry three more hours of Premiere programming in the daytime hours.
 
So when is this big flip for 94.5 to be a talker expected to happen?

I already hear WYOO doing "heritage" type promos (serving for 10 years, etc.)
to brace themselves.
 
...again, what is the expected date of this? there is already 101.1 FM

then again PCB has 2 NPR stations..we have NONE

(and no.88.1 isn't a dedicated NPR station)

Yep! With The Bob and Tom show running 24/7...Looking like we shall all find out the exact details of the flip.
 
Tibbs...I know you can't hear the market so this isn't directed to you.....these guys need to pay more attention....we have been stunting since Friday at 6pm...Howieburger is the first to notice it...and that was Sunday night at about 830pm.....I figured it would be all over the board by 10pm Friday night at the lastest....I am really disappointed in this bunch....hell, even rob didn't post....now that is a first! You guys and gals are going to have to shape up! The Dude hasn't even weighed in on this.........DUDE!

a subject of great discussion this weekend (one of the best B & T bits.)

The Dude nailed this months ago and is honored Wooten acknowledges him. I feel no need to point out I was right, cceng did it for me. Rush will be on later this week, the rest of the day remains a question. Bob and Tom? That would be dumb, so expect it.

I turned on 94.5 today and heard "all things considered"
Are they offline?

I know we had a few tornadoes here in Fort Walton (I'm about 30 minutes from downtown)
Did PCB get slammed, to?

We just get channel 7 here and I don't like their news.

hmmmmm.....looks like Tibbs is beginning to feel the way I do about rob ...by the way 94.5 is at reduced power because the US Coast Guard is working on an antenna system about 100 ft below the 94.5 antenna....it will be back to full power on Thursday around noon...this is not BS...we have been this way since Saturday...has nothing to do with 24/7 Bob and Tom

Thank goodness, I was thinking the same thing Rob was. Despite it's distance, 94.5 is usually the strongest PCB station to DX in the Pensacola area. Ever since you announced the stunting, 94.5 has been silent over here while the other 100kw PCB stations have been coming in fine. If your Bob and Tom stunt doesn't end before Thursday, I'll finally get to check out those yankees.
 
Charlie? Maybe we need an amendment to your contact with all of us. We never included a "low power
alert" clause. Leave it up to me to take Rob down, when he's right about something. I think he knows
he is loved. Maybe even as much as Jo Valentime. ???
