95.1 Pirate

Has anyone (particularly on the SE side) noticed the "noise" on 95.1? I caught it during a dial scan to Galveston on Sunday around Clear Lake the the signal made it to Texas City....and as far north as downtown on the return trip. I checked again today from the NW side and I could periodically hear it popping in through KYKR....massive coverage area for a pirate!

Could be the same pirate that has been on 95.1 for some time. I was living on the SE side in 2006 when I discovered it and even saw a business card of theirs hanging on the wall at Franks Grill on Telephone rd. I don't remember the calls or anything on it in detail but I do remember it being an urban format and the card did have a Houston address and phone number on it. I was sure that wasn't a legitimate station. There is no 95.1 licensed to Houston

Definitely not a licensed station; it is explicit edit hip hop tracks dry segued for the most part. Also heard them running what seemed to be either an old aircheck of XMs "66 Raw" or the stream of the online reincarnation of the station. I heard a few drops for Facebook.com/66raw.
