95.3 Changes hands

95.3 is now a fm translator for 740 WVCH. This actually makes sense due to 740 being a Canadian clear at my location at night.

CFZD-AM 740 of Toronto, a.k.a. Zoomer Radio. I listen to them often here in central Connecticut at night. Sometimes I get a weak 740 AM from Long Island during the day, away from critical hours.

Sidebar: Does WVCH 740 still sign off with their 'concludes it's 182,502nd broadcast day'? I remember hearing them
do that back in the 60's a few times. IIrc, they began that practice back before they changed to a religious format.

So I noticed something interesting. The 95.3 translator signs off when WVCH signs off as well. Never heard of a "daytimer" on FM. Or at least not in this specific fashion.
