Part-time on air Sabrina Boyd is now WBRU MD and part-time on the air Hillary Rosenthal is now newly created asst. MD position. Co-MD Marianna Faircloth is out ( Exits for Law school ) and Co-MD Sydney Harris move to PM drive at WBRU.

How many times have Major Broadcasting corporations tried to buy WBRU? Kudos to them for always standing their ground and refusing to sell. It's one of the few stations on the dial that doesn't sound like crap. I'm sure it remaining Locally owned is one of the reasons for that.

Maybe they should start buying the book and the embargo might be lifted.

Ah-Ha! That's an interesting piece of information among what are usually tight lips around here. So they are the hold out station. Good to know. Of course I can't do a damn thing with that piece of information, but it's still good to know.

The Latino stations, Poder and KKB, don't buy it either. But in their case they are probably selling the format itself and not pitching numbers at people. Same with Disney.
