95.7 and Bonneville

no way, they just built a brand new studio for there 3 kids, koit, kzbr, kdfc, and I'm sure KZBR and all the stations bill very well. I'm sure max will stick around for some time now that 1069 went talk and not jack. but with changes possibly coming to alice, who knows????

MAX FM is failing too. Is the frequency doomed, or is there no more room for radio in SF? Seriously, at what point is a market tapped out with radio stations? 6 million people in the Bay Area and their SEEK feature on their car radios just constantly skips over 95.7 somehow.

Bonneville would be better off just LMA'ing out the station. Guaranteed income and less stress, and smaller budget. Peace, have a great day! I like it!

> Though I am not a country music fan at all...given the relative ratings performance of the various formats Bonneville has had on 95.7, maybe The Bear should return. I can see a major "The Bear is Back" marketing campaign. Despite apparent lack of interest in Country music in the Bay Area the last decade or so, I would think being the ONLY major-market country station here would be a selling point. I have assumed they switched formats to Max because they thought (like many) that Jack was "The Next Big Thing."
