95.7 BEN-FM's "What I Remember" Weekend

Ben-FM is doing a "What I Remember" Weekend where they have callers talking about what they remember when they hear a certain song. They highlight different years and play a group of songs from that particular year. I think it's a nice change. What if they would have something like a "Block Party" Weekend? They would play a certain genre of songs together in a row. For example, they could have a classic rock block (similar to MGK), party block (similar to the music on a rhythmic AC), modern rock block, pop block (hot ACish type music), disco block, and any other genre of music that they "felt like playing". I remember when MTV used to play blocks of music back in the early 90s (back when they actually played videos!). I think this type of weekend programming would fit their format.
