I can hear big band jazz music here in the Metro office. Anybody hear it outside of downtown? It's WVQC-LP

Tenichally I believe that Media Bridges IS a Corporation, right. So they are Corporate owned, right? But I know what you are saying.RedGreen said:Just a random thought, and not an attack on you, RockNuts!:RockNuts! said:Wow. The contempt that some people have on this board for "non-corporate" stations is simply mind-boggling.
...Or maybe it's because they're scared.

No contempt. Trust me. I own several independent stations in the Cincinnati market and believe me, nothing we do follows Corporate rules. For the few hours that Media Bridges is getting in their time share and for only 2 years (unless that has changed), knowing the time involved to run a station, the commitment involved, I'm not sure I would make the investment. and for 12 watts?

There's no 2 year limit that I know of for this station -- I believe that the successive license terms only come into play when multiple parties cannot agree to a time share schedule.
