95.7 The Game: Ric Bucher

Ric Bucher is an arrogant -------!!!! Cannot stand him.

Pretty much my thoughts as well. The responses to my post (and lack thereof) seem to support my thoughts. One, that barely anyone is listening to the show. And two, that he was a terrible choice to team with Brandon Tierney. Two arrogant blowhards together does not make for great listening. Maybe this kind of programming works on the east coast, but I'd really rather listen to people who are at least somewhat likeable. Eric Davis made this show at least listenable. Now it's chalkboard-screeching material.

The management obviously set out to have the least successful Sports station in America and did it.

It seems like their management bases everything on having an attitude and coming on strong, at all costs. Never mind if the hosts are annoying as hell or don't know what they're talking about, if they have a "take", they're golden. Sports talk does require some passion, yes, and I certainly don't want hosts devoid of personality. But they seem to put no value on hosts who have at least some degree of likeability and knowledge. I like KNBR, but when 95.7 turned to sports, I was glad to have another option. Unfortunately this station is a trainwreck and it's getting worse, not better. Now that the A's run has ended, I'll be curious to see how much further their ratings slide.

With the exception of 'The Rise Guys', they should overhaul and relaunch, rebrand, RE-everything this disaster of a (uh-hemm) Sports Radio Station.

Maybe it's time for Entercom to consider bringing back the Country music format to 95-7! If I had to do anything with it, I would name the station 95-7 The Bear...Continuous Country Favorites, Old and New!!!!! :)

He sounds exactly like Jon Lund. I can't tell their voice apart even if you paid me to. With that said, do you all work for KGO? You're grossly exaggerating how bad the station is.
