Ok, when CC got Rid of Mega((Worst station ever on the Air)) they launched this "Party" which sounded similar to Jammin 92.5, would be broader....so i thought? I heard artist like Stevie B, Al B Sure, Cameo, Samantha Fox, Rick James....i was like OK. "Denver finally may have a more expanded OLD School & Rythmn Station.....but after a couple months...there playlist is becoming "Stale" and sounds the same everyday. OK...I heard Kelly Clarskston, Tone LOC, and JOJO, and USHER, and En Vouge all day. YIKES!!!!!! I could hear that on Alice..or Mix 100. Why would you play these artist and songs on this station??? Are there not anymore Decent PM"S anymore??
Where is the Mixing of R&B and DISCO & OLD SCHOOL...?? Party is another "CLONE" of these "MOVIN" stations popping up all over. AGAIN Some Guy in an Office came up with this Hairbrained FORMAT.....a "Jack" Style Rythmn format. NO WONDER RADIO SUCKS ALL OVER!!
I may as well...Keep my CD's handy. Party 95.7...is not what i had hoped. And the D.J.'s....hmmm ????? Not sure here either.
Clear Channel...just brought this Half Ass.."Party" to Denver...because Mega..was Horrible....and once again....it's a Cheap imitation of a "TRUE" R&B-Disco station....IE...the OLD...MOJO..94.9 in Cincinnati...Before RADIO ONE Tore it up....and the OLD KACE 103.9 in L.A....(one of best Disco R&B stations ever on the Radio. RADIO IS GONE FOREVER :'( :'( :'(
