SO I HEAR THERE IS A NEW MORNING SHOW GOING TO ABQ WITH LA LEY 95.9 , WHERE DOES THAT LEAVE MR."PITUFO" OR EL CUMPA ADRIAN. I GUESS WE WILL JUST HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE SINCE EL CUCUY IS GOING BACK TO ABQ AS HE SAYS [EDIT]

what's gonna hapen to "the only local morning show in Albuquerque"? Where does that leave you Pitufo? Are you taking over afternoons or middays?
 
I think Jose Luis Marquez - Pitufu has been working hard at trying to make a success of 95.9/1310 La Ley. He's fighting a tough battle with Univision's La Jefa and AGM's Lobo running syndicated powerhouse morning shows and Regional Mexican formats too. Renan Almendarez Coello - El Cucuy is part owner of La Ley, and I understand the plan is for Cucuy to debut a show from L.A. for the Albq station in early November. That may well be the start toward building the network he has mentioned. If the owners make decisions, the staff has to follow suit. One thing they could do IMHO is get rid of the "Orgullo mexicano" moniker. Albuquerque is in New Mexico, not Mexico.

Hey Y'all! Well I'm not doin mid-days nor afternoons!?!? Actually I decided to hold a sign that reads "WILL PROGRAM AND DJ FOR FOOD" and stand on the corner of Montaño/Montgomery and I-25 I herd they are averaging about 25k to 30k per year lol...Just kiding "Mis AMIGOS" actually I'm in Denver Colorado WORKIN on a lil Somethin Somethin! And I decided to GO BACK TO SCHOOL! CBS school of broadcasting to be exact...I would like to THANK EVERYONE FOR THEIR KIND WORDS AND SUPPORT...and HELL YEA it was hard, 10 to 12 hour long days (you know settin up them ARBITRON FAIRY TRAPS jejeje jijiji...) I wish nothing BUT THE BEST to Rene Leon and Lobo, Henry Gonzales and La Jefa, and of course Victor Camino and La Ley! Albuquerque is BY FAR THE HARDEST MARKET I HAVE EVER WORKED IN!!! You fight for every tenth of a point (arbitron) you fight for every client, and you fight for each and every last listener! I FEEL I PUT UP A GOOD FIGHT.

La LEY 95.9FM WAS LEFT STANDING STRONG ON ITS ON TWO FEET! Producing good monthly revenue and having TUMBLEWEED NIGHT CLUB ALL TO ITS OWN...AS WELL AS MANY PROMOTIONS from various record labels, A MUSIC PLAY LIST (ROTATION AND CLOCK) that pumped out all the hits and MADE HITS AS WELL, the stations imaging is NOT ONE TO SHRUG OFF it is JUAN TAPIA "YOGI" who is at the helm of that department and in the P.M. drive one of the best voices and talents on air and in production Adrian Lozano. With that being said In my 10 months look at what I did...but CAN YOU IMAGINE WHAT I'M ABOUT TO DO???

That slogan also sounds strange when the part owner and morning guy is Honduran and not Mexican. It will be interesting to see if Renan is able to, finally, get ratings anywhere outside of LA, too.
 
So now that they debuted a new morning show "Los Carnales De La Mañana" are they just gonna cover till the end of the month when El Cucuy starts? Or is El Cucuy having second thoughts about being on the air on his own radio station?
 
Sounds like they're putting a lot of effort into "Carnales" show just to have it superseded in a couple weeks. Time will tell. Nothing mentioned on the web page.
 
THAT MORNING SHOW IS HORRIBLE, IF I WAS OWNER I WOULDNT PUT ANY EFFORT INTO THEM..SOUNDS LIKE THEY ARE USING A MIC FROM WALMART IN SOMEONES BASEMENT..AND TO TOP IT ALL OF THEY HAVE NO PERSONALITY.

Ahhhh! Come on, like we say in Albuquerque "Don't be like that Eh!" give em a chance?!?!? lol...So now that La Leys voice (Juan Tapia "Yogi") is the same as 105.9FM Radio Tricolor, I wonder what the plan is next? Hmmmm Cucuy as part owner, Los Carnales (not recieving great reviews) and the stations voice guy is the same as the competition...what next? I will light a candle for ma friends at La Ley! But don't say I didn't tell you so (before I left) and we are only 1 month and 5 days since I list went on.

Meanwhile back at the Bat Cave...Pitufo is doing MORINGS IN DENVER ON KBNO 1280AM..."Los Hijos de la Mañana"! Check out the website radioquebueno.com!

As you know I am a die hard DENVER BRONCOS FAN as well as Nuggets, and Rockies! So to be part of the morning show for the OFFICIAL DENVER BRONCOS EN ESPAÑOL RADIO STATION wow its a dream come true y'all! I am truly blessed God is GOOD...all the TIME!

And hey WE HAVE SOME RATINGS hahaha LIFE IS GOOD!
