95.9 the octopus died....Now called Rewind 95.9........

Just found out here in Ventura County 95.9 The Octopus Classic Rock switch to the Rewind 95.9........No jocks for now, just music from the 70's and 80's.......pop music that is........Bummer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doesn't 99.9 KTYD get a pretty good signal in Ventura/Oxnard? They've been switching to more a softer edge classic rock format from a AAA format in the last couple of years. Am I right?

Yes, you are correct.....Comes in strong all the way to the Conjeo Grade......Haven't listen in a while........

The Octopus was probably getting squeezed by KTYD from the north and KLOS from the south. KRTH and Jack can be heard throughout parts of Ventura County but I don't think there are any pop oldies stations coming from Santa Barbara.
