95.9 WRAT no more?

Seems like they finally boosted their signal *AND* flipped formats!

Here in Ocean County I am getting CHR music loud and clear on my walkman on 95.9! WRAT never came in this well, when they were s Rock station I could only BARELY get them in my car! The new signal is so strong that it is actually bleeding onto 95.7 and 96.1 on my Sony digital walkman!

So far I've heard Britney Spears, Neon Trees and Capital City. Sounds like they're going after B98.5 in Ocean and 94.3 The Point in Monmouth.

Not sure the format will work but it's about time they upgraded their signal to cover Ocean County!

The tower hasn't been built yet for the upgrade... typical NIMBY crap in the town holding it up.

I had that same thought in the summer of 2011 when I heard 95.9 Kiss FM for the first time on tropo, with no sign of WRAT.
