Richard Yoon’s WIN Radio Broadcasting sells “Radio Autentica” 950 WCTN Potomac-Cabin John MD/Washington DC and 94.3 W232DE Potomac to William Tucker Jr’s WOOK Radio DC for $800,000. The buyer also owns 1260 KBSZ Apache Junction AZ.

Unfortunately, the famous WOOK calls are already taken by a TV station in Atlanta. I'm assuming the online radio station will now be heard on AM/FM.

I had a chance to view coverage maps for both WCTN and W232DE. I didn't realize how directional WCTN is, with most of the signal pointed away from DC. Limiting coverage to only the NW/W suburban areas. Nighttime drops to only 350 watts. W232DE doesn't even reach DC.
