Yes cause stations notoriously give entire formats ONE trend. And oldies are diong SO well. You sir are a Nostradamus-esque prognosticator.

(Of course it IS GM)

In HD, no music format will work. And as most of us know, any type of talk format needs at least a year to catch on.

That station is going to take three years before establishing itself as anything legitimate. Every time you blow up an AM, reset the clock to zero and wait 24-36 months.

WPEN should go back to Standards, at least that gave them a good, strong, loyal audiance base. If WCMC and WOBM can exsist, why not WPEN, there are many old citizens that really miss the station here in the DelVal.

On the more power front, see my post of five days ago (12/10):

As of this morning (Thursday 12/15), it has been read 265 times but not one person has responded.

You're kidding, right? WPEN has only been sports talk for a little more than two months. One trend isn't enough to predict the demise of a station. One book isn't even enough. Some people are so impatient and when they don't like a new format, they throw it into the garbage acting like its a failure when its been around for a very short time. Sorry, Oldies didn't work out.
